@steveinarizona while true the point of this group is to hear what worked and didn’t work with people experiencing similar situations . I’ve seen my physio for 16 months now since the day of my accident and getting some new ideas to ask her about could help .

Of course. It sounds like you have a good PT. But many do not and just as there are superb hip/knee surgeons, there are more pedestrian ones than superb ones. That applies IMO to most professions including physical therapy.

So my first piece of advice was to make sure you had a good PT. When it comes to exercises, there are some that are very helpful and there are some that may be harmful for a particular patient. Once one has a good PT, then I think it is useful to get ideas from others although I would run it by my PT first.
