They caught my SMM on a annual checkup. My PCP sent me to a nepherologist due to my EGFR (Kidney function) declining the last 2 yearly checkups
I have had smoldering multiple myeloma for 14 months now. I have bloodwork every 3 months. My 2 PET scans are yearly which showed (both times) no signs of lytic lesions.
You being MGUS only have a 1% chance per year developing into SMM. I have 10 % chance per year developing MM. I wouldn't worry too much you may never go any further.

@sallik74 TY Molly, and you won't dev either so don't u worry. Im just afraid of the BMB procedure. Anyhew, ask God to protect u. He's our savior. The Saints & Angels too. Love u & prayers for u.🙏❤️🕊️
