I don't feel full and have not lost weight since COPD; gained itstead as with the progress of the disease my activity level diminishes and so I'm home more and therefore I eat more!🤨. However, occasionally when I take a first bite, typically of bread or sandwich on bread, I feel like I've aspirated -- "food went down the wrong pipe" as we used to describe it. And I feel like I'm choking. I have to go to the toilet and force myself to throw up. Once I've done that, I'm fine, and I eat normally. No explanation for this from my doc.

@slowtime I would recommend seeing a gastroenterologist. My wife had to have something in her throat “stretched” due to problems swallowing. I find my throat bothers me due to my Breztri inhaler. Doc gave me some “swish and swallow” medicine and it gets better, but I only use it as needed.
