Nervive…anyone using?

Posted by uma1 @uma1, Jul 4 7:45pm

I’m wondering if anyone is using Nervive? It’s B vitamins and ALA. I’m just cautious and don’t want it to interact with anti anxiety meds I’m on.

I still get an occasional leg cramps during the night. Frankly I only take the mag glycinate to aid in my sleep - I had no idea they were to assist with leg cramps.

That's good to hear that you only get occasional leg cramps. I believe the mag is meant to relax the muscles, which is probably why it helps you sleep. How much do you take?

I take 275 mg nightly. I also take melatonin but still don't sleep that well. Have ice packs on my feet most of the night.

generalizations about PN and different treatment attempts seem to be very common among forum participants. This is so funny when you get right down to it. To say one treatment modality doesn't work is generalizing. Like saying B12 is useless. One must ask how much B12, what type of B12, who confirms that the product is everything that is advertised about the product is true. People who try to sell something don't lie do they? It is time for people to quit generalizing about things. To say something doesn't work is a bit immature. One needs to describe why one found that it didn't work for them. Answer questions like what, how much, how often and then say their opinion about the product. Just my 2 cents. General comments can't help much!

@snagydude i get B12 shots every 2 weeks and take the under the tongue tablet every night. NADA. My BFF asked which B12 vax I'd been getting. Apparently there are several different B12 vax, some are synthetic others not. some people have difficulty absorbing one type and not the other type which was me.
Sometimes you have to look deeper into wild blood levels with the supplements are remaining where they are. Apparently, they're not being absorbed properly into your bloodstream.
It's no different than people who take antidepressants. Some people just don't naturally produce enough dopamine to be happy. While others produce abundant amounts, it doesn't mean one thing works. And one doesn't, everybody's body, chemistry is different from what works for you might not work for me,and vice versa

Yes!! I use Nervive all the time. It works! Do not know what is in it but I’m a skeptic about all medicine but this one works for me. I use for nerve pain, muscle pain, pain of any kind. I have used all the OTC creams and gels and etc. this is the only one I can say works.

@dida84 I have had success with Stonehenge Dynamic Nerve for about 3 months, but it hasn't been working as well for the past few days. Has anyone else tried this product. I have also had success with using ice on my feet.

Has anyone used a cream such as Nervive on their feet for pain? I bought it but I am a little afraid to use it. I am in early neuropathy right now so I do not suffer any of the advanced symptoms but I can tell you the pain in my feet is often pretty uncomfortable and has altered my life a great deal. I am 75 years old and trying to remain active but after my daily walk I am pretty much on the couch icing my feet. My feet cannot stand being constricted in supportive sneakers during walk.
Also has anyone tried Kuru footwear? I need a lot of cushioning. Thank you.

I have tried Kuru foot wear and it was not good for me. Very stiff and narrow and oddly shaped. I have flat feet and need arch support and they would not accommodate my orthotics.
My left foot had surgery 18 years ago and I haven't been on a walk in fifteen years because of
residual foot pain. I've used CBD balm with some success. I have the same issue with sneakers.
The laces drive my foot crazy as do socks.

The Kurus did not work out for me either. I agree about width and stiffness. I cannot stand socks either but unfortunately winter is here in New England.

I found heat holders non binding socks online, in three different weights. I’m trying the lightest weight ones. They are returnable if you don’t like them. Maybe they could help you.
