Kyphoplasty and Kyphosis T8 and T10
I had Kyphoplasty done on T8 back in Sept and still having back pain the Doctor has told me that I have Kyphosis due to the T8 fracture and an earlier fracture on T10. I have been on Tymlos since Mid Sept and have no issues with the medication but the Back pain is limiting me to what I can do to start weight training and getting back to riding and walking.
Has anyone had to rehab from these types of injuries and suggestions and timelines for relief from pain!

Hubby was pretty good after 1st and 2nd kyphoplasties. Had PT for 6 to 8 weeks after his 3rd and 4th kyphoplasties. Helped a little. 84 yrs old.

what is kyphoplasty? Is it something that is done to correct kyphosis? I have a kyphosis from childhood, what are the risks?
Did you have any night nausea? I just started 10 days ago and had some mild nausea last night. Other than the usual fast heart rate everything else is okay.
All this sure makes one full of anxiety
@melia7 the Kyphoplasty was to fix the Veterbra Commersion fracture's. The doctors have told me that the lasting pain is due to the Kyphosis that has delveloped due to the factures.
@osteopatient2026 no issues from the Tymlos if that is what you are asking, I make sure that I am very well Hydrated
@chrisdietrich
Yes that’s what I was asking…thank you. So I guess it’s me
@chrisdietrich
What do you hydrate with and how much during the day…
@melia7 minimally invasive, outpatient procedure injecting bone cement into broken vertebral fracture cavity. (to paraphrase Google)

Thank you for your prompt reply.
@osteopatient2026 I drink Water and some Bai sports drink most all day. I am used to this due to before all this I would get up and ride my bike for 50 - 60 miles every day, whci would leave me dehaydrated.
