@ruth36 The reported 'half-life' of apixaban is 12 hours. plus or minus for individual variation based on their liver's ability to metabolize the drug. This means the level of the drug still in circulation should be down to less than 1% inside of four days, and essentially untestable in six days. Leaving another week for the body to regain its equilibrium or to repair any real tissue degradation, or to deal with inflammation caused by the drug, whichever it is that one would assume has caused the unwelcome changes, it should not take months to feel better after stopping a drug with a short half-life like Eliquis. I would begin to suspect, if it were me, that there's something else afoot about two weeks after ceasing any drug. Another drug, a pathogen, age-related deterioration that was 'due' about now anyway, etc.
In any event, I do hope you can claw back your old self, whatever it is that has made you miserable. None of us posting here wants that because many of us have had something like that in their experience. It ain't fun....at all!
