Right foot constantly goes dead. Try to stand it's as if

Posted by malmor @malmor, Nov 21, 2025

Foot constantly goes completely dead while i'm attempting to stand. last year, I fractured my ankle, three months later I broke 3 ribs. Three weeks ago i fractured my wrist that didn't sit properly and needed surgery to insert metal plate.
Nobody can give me an answer or a direction. Has this happened to anybody?
We're going to enjoy the entire paths have taken place.

It really sounds that your nerves in your foot are dying slowly but in excess at certain times to make the foot like it is completely dead. My feet are racked with neuropathy which at times feels like my feet are going dead on me.
I've started supplements, after checking them very carefully...a lot of trash out there just to steal your money, but the ones I am taking each day are to increase the health of my nerves, increase the blood flow in my legs and feet, and I purchased an electric rotating foot excising machine with a hand held speed control. I can either work the steps manually with my own strength or use the remote control......i do both. After a couple of sessions each day,
I physically rotate my feet and ankles for a min. of 5 minutes to build up the muscles in my legs and feet then, I use crutches to walk with to exercise my legs as well as a treadmill with long handles to hold unto. I feel the strength coming back into my feet, ankles, and legs and I believe this forced and determined exercising is helping me to keep my blood flowing and improving the strength/muscles in my lower legs and you just have to do it....you must force yourself........be your own doctor, take control of your health, eat and drink and take only the good to put into your body, eliminate salt and sugar, two enemies of your overall health, prayers and best wishes to your health.

Living in Florida I learned if you don't educate yourself and become your own advocate. Just pick out a coffin because these doctors just don't care. You have 5 minutes on the clock, and next, but the weird thing is my right knee down.
And that's it, not my left foot, not my hands. I'm on prescription strength supplements and vitamins and my blood levels remain the same. I had to tell my "concierge" doctor that at this point, increasing my dosages aren't changing anything.Don't you think we need to look into why i'm not absorbing these nutrients.

I'd say since it happens when you try to walk, it's coming from either your foot or your back. I have severe back issues and have for years. After my numbness started in my foot I thought it was from the chemo.

I'd lie in bed and do different things, like bring my right foot high up on my other leg that was drawn up, and when the position of my back changed, I noticed the feeling trying to come back. I ordered this cream and I really think it's working. I've also fallen several times too so I'm sure I jarred things in my back. My foot issues didn't start until after I slipped off the outside steps and sprained it. I did not seek medical treatment for it though.

Since I have to talk text, because my right hand is in a sling with a metal thing in it.I just deleted everything I said to you....I think. The problem is finding a doctor who will give you the time of day and who doesn't work for a hedge fund. They did find some narrowing in my lower back, but every time I have tests scheduled to explore different avenues, I fall break something that requires surgery. And then I have months of recovery, which sets everything back 3-4 months again.
And it's not just when I'm sitting or laying down, because I'm up-and-down every 30 seconds. Very hyper and I take my dog out every two hours
I just don't have the answers. I had 2 Emg's and new mri s scheduled, and i broke my wrist 2 days before the 1st test was scheduled those but now I have metal in my body so those are on hold, Im going on 2 plus years with this and it's starting to affect my state of mind. I don't have pain except my broken bones. This getting old sh*t really stinks, doesn't it? I was the girl dancing on the speaker s at studio 54, and now i'm a crippled old lady..UGH

My BFF in New York just sent me DSMO something... And two other creams.. She's very into holistic natural healing. At this point I'd give anything a shot

@malmor

Do you smoke or drink alcohol ? Do you have osteoporosis or told you have brittle bones? Do you have dairy in your diet?

Have you ever had a bone density test?

You may want to see a neurologist and/or vascular specialist about your right foot going numb so they can test to determine the cause.

I do smoke. I never drank. I have seen several neurologists and I was scheduled for the emg tests also known as the pin test. I've had vascular ultrasounds
But since I fell and now have a plate in my arm and a sprained knee, all that got sidetracked. and the strange part is, I went to sleep perfectly healthy and woke up not healthy.I would think things progress slowly, not just come on like a Mac truck.
And until the first time my leg went numb, I've never been sick a day in my life.I've had two colds in the past 10-12 years, went to urgent care, got an antibiotic and was fine.
