Usually your primary care physician directs you to the a specialist depending on your history symptoms etc. blood tests are ordered based on what they think is a possible cause. Sometimes they miss things and it requires you to be vigilant and persistent…if you are not getting answers ask to be referred to another doctor…I was raised that doctors were like “gods” your questions are what counts…
This Tymlos I have just been put on last week might not even work for my severe osteoporosis but it’s what I’m trying first…Our bodies all respond differently.

Thank you so much. An endocrinologist visit is in the works. I hope I learn more about possible causes.
