Interesting comment from Gloming about Eliquis. I am thankfully off all drugs after second ablation except Eliquis. But have continued lower leg issues and numbness in my feet. Also suffer from severe depression which is out of caracter for me but I can't shake. Could it be related to. And Gloming have you continued on Eliquis

@cdk43 Yes, still on advice, but also because I'm a computer junkie who is on line a lot during the day and evening. I'm retired, maintain my garden and care for my wife who is in a lot of pain and cannot walk well, even safely, when she has her spells. So, I must be close by....handy. As an aging male who sits a lot, deep vein thrombosis is always a distinct risk. So, even though I am no longer fibrillating, and my CHA2DS2-VASc score (you can find the calculator on line if you google those letters and numbers) is less than 2.0, I feel I need to protect myself from DVT. Apixaban covers any thromboembolic risk that I might have, or at least helps to lower that risk. Also, I have a drug plan through insurance, so it's not a burden. I understand that this can make a huge difference to some people.
