My TRIMIX experience

Posted by maverick75 @maverick75, Jan 4 9:27am

I've been using Trimix for about six months with outstanding results. It did take some experimentation to figure out the best way to make it work for me. With hopes that it may help others, here's what I discovered using this medication: (BTW, I'm 71, one year post SBRT and 4 months Orgovyx)
- I have had to use the oral antidote several times (works well) in the early dose experimentation days for super hard erections lasting more than three hours (4tablets of 30 mg pseudoephedrine. Don't make the mistake of buying the extended release pseudoephedrine tabs). Make sure you have this on hand before you start this medication!
- I had to find the sweet spot for the injection site and depth. For me turns out to be the 10 and 2 o'clock position with the 1/2" needle almost fully inserted around mid-shaft.
- Shelf life on the Trimix in the refrigerator is limited. I can definitely see a difference in the results at the 3-4 week period. For me, it became pretty useless after 4 weeks, even at a higher dose. To help extend the life, I now fill all syringes with the needed dose as soon as I get the medication and immediately place all syringes into the freezer until needed. Now, I take a syringe out about 30 min before needed and it's ready to go. This is working well and my pharmacist said this should extend the shelf-life to 6 months or more.
- After injecting, massage the entire penis and base to help distribute the medication throughout the muscle structure. This will help significantly.
- Stand for the first 5-10 minutes after injection as gravity aids in the blood flow into the penis.
This medication has been a lifesaver for me. I was afraid I'd never see a useful erection again. Now, I'm back to 18 in that regard-- actually better than 18 as my erection stays hard even after an orgasm! Best of luck guys! Be aware that your partner may hide your medication if you use it to often. (-:

Thanks for the diagram, what kind of dose does this look like to you on my syringe?
I was told to work my way up from 1 (10) up to 6ish (60).

@brettiquette My syringe looks a bit different and starts at 5 units. I’ll send you a picture of it. Hope you’ve had a chance to experiment more since we last talked.

I use the vacuum pump as well 2-3 times a week for 20 minutes each time. I only use 2-3 units of trimix out of a 100 unit syringe and get several hour erections . I was told by my urologist that specializes in this topic to use the vacuum pump to keep it healthy. It seems to make a difference.

@florida11

How do you use a vacuum pump for 20 minutes? Do you inflate and then deflate repeatedly or just leave it erect for 20 minutes?

REPLY

I inflate, hold for five minutes, deflate, and immediately reinflate. A urologist that recommended the pump once told me this, but that was years ago. But I’ve kept using the same approach.

Just checking back to see how you’re doing with the Trimix. Are you getting better results? It took me a while to figure it out too. At first I was only successful about one out of three times, but now I’ve got the process down and it works most of the time. Hope things are getting better for you too.

Tried only once since our chat, another disappointment unfortunately. Possibly a bad batch, I’ve taken necessary steps to preserve but who knows. I’ve ordered another batch and should be here in few days. My last try I used 65 units on my syringe and only got a 20% puffy. Dr. Said we can try a stronger formula also. Will follow up with results in once they get here. Cheers!

Does it hurt when you are injecting?

I could not get a sustainable erection from Viagra and Cialis, so my urologist prescribed Trimix. He showed me, using a demo penis, how to inject myself. He explained that the major blood vessel is in the top of the penis and the urethra is in the bottom portion. He also provided a diagram showing proper injection techniques. Needless to say I was terrified. But realizing the result was more than worth the fear of injection, I tried it. The first injection I did was when my wife was away for a day. I wanted to make sure I was injecting properly and to find out how long the erection lasted. The injection, using the quantity he prescribed, was not painful but I felt some discomfort. I masturbated after achieving a rock hard erection & was pleased to discover that I maintained the erection for about 45 minutes after ejaculation. (Possibly more sex after orgasm?) Satisfied with the results, I had sex with my wife the next day. Trimix definitely works and the injection is not anywhere near as bad as I imagined. It's like being in my 20’s & 30’s again. Sex is no longer a hit and miss proposition . Trimix gets me there and then some. My wife is delighted I can be as I was when we started dating. I highly recommend this method!

Hey guys, saw this topic and had to post. Just had my 3 month check up post RP with my results of the PSA being undetectable. Could not be happier! In conversation with my urologist the ED topic came up, I have been on 5 mg cialis using a vacuum device with no progress, he prescribed Testosterone and talked about Trimix. I kind of freaked me out, imagine, giving yourself a shot in penis? Anyway i talked to an older friend of mine than has been doing this for about 25 years and he said it hurts like hell and burns. Is this even accurate? Just doesn’t seem to be the case when I read results from here. Any thoughts would be appreciated

@brucemobile Been using for a year now and my injection only burns if I miss the target, which only happened in the beginning. The needle you use is so small it's hardly noticeable when you inject yourself. If you weren't looking at yourself "jabbing a needle into your penis", you may not even notice it. Just my experience.
