I think I remember him saying the Phage allowed the antibiotics to penetrate and work. So in other words both were used and it was a success.

@irenea8 You're right, all successful cases were treated by both phages and antibiotics. I did find the presentation but could not download. It's called "A Day of Discovery, Dr Charles Daly, NTM and Bronchiectasis", It's a about 2/3 through-maybe more, where he talks about the phage therapies. Super interesting.
