When I was first domiagnosed while in my 20's my cardiologist told me it was not life threatening..
But it is annoying and it became a problem because I never knew when it would happen.
It's caused by rogue nerve endings that fire off randomly in the ventricle.
After I turned 65 and was fed up with my cardiologist trying to make me a guinea pig with the meds he kept trying make me take only because the ablation would cost $30k at that time.. Medicare got involved and sent me to the best hospital in Santa Barbara CA .
That ablation was easy and the cardiologist found two rogue nerve endings .
He zapped around them which killed the pathways and I was a little sore for two days then resumed all activities without one problem . Never another SVT episode .
Make sure you consult with an arthymia specialist..
Hope this helps
