Would my OBGYN be the place to ask about the right HRT treatment for me. At 81 I still have hot flashes. I am still working full time and want to continue working and feeling good but have noticed an anxiety increase … if there is another type of Dr I should contact I will Appreciate knowing. Thank you. Carolyn

Possibly endocrinologist and more likely a functional medicine provider.

Perhaps, yes. However most establishment doctors follow their medical “handbook” and don’t prescribe HRT to the elderly. I got my diagnosis and prescription from a naturopathic doctor. (Who happens to be on HRT herself for anxiety)
