@alwaysworried Hi, Lynn,
I could have written your comment a couple of years ago. I’m 78, have always had normal 100/80 blood pressure, could stand to lose 15 pounds, and my GFR is about 60. I see a Nephrologist once a year for monitoring. Unfortunately, I took substantial doses of Ibuprofen for a number of years, which is not good for kidneys. So far, I haven’t had any symptoms or need for medication, and I just feel better that I’m in good hands with this specialist. Fortunately, your weight and blood pressure are great. For sure, get in with the Nephrologist for your peace of mind. Others who responded have given you helpful advice.
