@treehouse5437 That’s great that the nurses will shave your head for you.

Regarding regrowth after, I took about 2 months to start seeing some hair sprouting back and about 4 before I had enough to feel comfortable not wearing a hat all the time. I remember my head felt chilly at night so I wore a sleeping hat for much longer but that’s probably personal preference. Good luck.

My hair took months to get any fuzz. I felt cold till it was an inch or 2. My neck? I had long hair for 45 years. The cold around my neck was ongoing. I lost my hair once in last 2021, then again in April 2024. I love hats and find each of us handles hair loss different.
There are resources - The Look good/feel better organization has wonderful workshops on makeup and hair care with cancer treatments. It helps to come here and talk about it and to find resources for support.
