I have been on effexor for 2 or so years , when I told my doc I wanted off it , he said " why?. I didnt think it was helping, he said effexor plus the new one he keeps nagging me to try will help.

Is there a reason you don’t trust your doctor? Could you explain nagging ? Medication is not a one size fits all. If you are not seeing a therapist along with medication I would recommend that. Good luck.
