@irenea8 I had no side effects from the pic line meds. And yes, that second drug does sound familiar. I was on Leo Quinn but got retinitis in both elbows. I went through a litney of antibiotics c. Now my only hope is the pic line as the other drugs were not smart enough to outsmart the psuedomonas. Three infections last year. Buy I am really excited braces my pulmonagist is starting me on a brand new drug for the bronchectasis which should indirectly help with the pusidomonas. The drug is called Brinsupri. You have to quality’s for the drug with a diagnosis of bronchectasis and two ore more infections a year. Sounds like you could blear that easily. Log this new drug is supposed to reduce your flare ups by about 60 percent. That is so promising. Pleases check into this. The drug has only been out since august of this year. Good luck

@renee53
There is a forum topic called Brinsupri follow up. People report what they notice after starting it. Some have improved, some with side effects. You might post your results once you have been taking Brinsupri for some time. Yes I knew about it. Thank you Renee. My question was whether they had tried any other IV antibiotics for your Pseudomonas other than the Piperacillin/tazobactam? OR was that your first IV treatment for it? Good to hear you had no side effects. You might be younger than me? My chronic pseudo is quite severe and very difficult to knock back thus far and I have other health issues. Only tried Meropenem which is supposed to be the strongest and for more severe infections and yet not bad for side effects.
