Thanks for the comment. I've had similar experience since my prostatectomy in 1998. I'm also a Veteran, Agent Orange, 40% for prostate cancer, and hypothyroidism. Experimented with multiple types and brands of pads but, like you, found Tena works best for me. Two a day usually suffices, unless I consume excessive fluids (especially any containing alcohol). Biggest issue is 3-4 nightly pee trips. Urologist prescribed Mirabegron ER 50mg to reduce frequency. It helped somewhat, reducing trips to 2 or 3, but due to the standard side effect of constipation, an issue I don't need to exacerbate, I stopped taking. I would appreciate more specifics on your experience with the PROACT procedure. For some reason my urologist has not broached the subject.

There’s a few people in this forum that have had ProACT and were very happy with it. If you go to the top level of the prostate Cancer forum you can search for ProACT And it will probably come up with people’s comments.

Here is a one hour talk given by a urologist Who Specializesin Incontinence. He discusses the different techniques he uses, and talks about ProACT A lot. After you click on it, just hit browser for where to watch it and it will come right up.

Do. Humberto Villarreal. Great talk ProACT many others.
