I totally understand your concern for your wife and you too. It effects both of you. I was diagnosed in July and had a lumpectomy in August. The worst part for my husband and me was not knowing what was going to happen. Fortunately, all that worry was for nothing as the surgeon was able to remove the cancer and get all the margins. I didn't have any chemo, because tumor was tested and it wouldn't have done anything for me. They suggested radiation, but I declined. Like some of the other women, I did take the Anastrozole which is supposed to reduce the Estrogen but the side effects caused me to stop after 3 weeks. Instead, like others looking to eat more healthy vegetables, that should help against the Estrogen building up. Educate yourselfs, there is a lot on line. Hopefully your wife will have an easy time of it like. Me. I was afraid the stress would kill me not the cancer.
