@barbarian1 I do care! That’s why I’m a mentor for the Blood Cancer & Conditions and the Bone Marrow Transplant support groups. When going through my AML/BMT journey, I knew of no one whom I could talk to with first hand experience other than my medical teams. It wasn’t until I finally met someone face to face that had gone through the same journey that I actually felt hope! I learned the value of mentorship for hope and survival.
That’s why I love and appreciate the Connect community so much. This is a safe haven for anyone going through a challenging health crisis. We’re a great lifeline because most of us have walked the walk and can talk the talk.
