Struggling to walk.
So I finished 44 radiation treatments on May 21st 2025. Been on Orgovyx for about 11 months with a 9 week break because of coronary issues. The hot flashes are a nuisance but I’m dealing with it. Right now my worse side effect is aching legs that make it real tough to climb stairs or walk any distance. This is actually life changing and I’m not happy about it. Wondering if anyone here has had the same experience. My hope is that this is a temporary situation and after I’m off the Orgovyx I might return to normal. That being said I appreciate any replies and/or input. Wishing everyone here all the best doing battle with this Prostate cancer. God bless you all. Ken

Maybe that is true. I have found I can lose weight with no testosterone. I have found I don’t gain weight unless I over eat, while on ADT.
I’ve been on it for almost 8 years and my weight has stayed in the 189 range the whole time. I may gain A couple of pounds, Or one time lose six, But I’m always able to get back to that 189. I am 6”4” So that is a low BMI.

1 ReactionI was on ADT for a year, Orgovyx for the last 9 months of it. I had severe joint pain in my knees, shoulders, and elbows. I had difficulty walking up one flight of stairs. I had to two foot each step. Once I quit ADT (my urologist wanted me to stay on another 6 months and I said no way). I started physical therapy about 2 months after I stopped ADT. My joints started to get better 6 months after quitting. It didn't fully resolve for 18 months. Muscle mass did not return. My new normal is ok, not the same as before but I'm in my 70's not in my 30's. So, try to be optimistic. Things will get better but it will take time.
