I've had 3 Prolia shots and now have pain in both legs since April
Since I've been getting the Prolia shots (3x now), I've had pain in both legs and my right hip. I think it's from the Prolia shots but none of my doctors or family think so. Just wondering how long the pain lasts.
I just had my third round of shots in my back with steroids. Hope this one will help. Anyone else having problems with pain from Prolia?

@bocabird As with a group of radiology tests different readings from different people. Some note a shadow, another says intestinal waste. When in doubt get a 2nd opinion and they usually include a new scan. You're all in our thoughts and prayers. I have a genetic degenerative bone disease with long bone pain. Dense pain & nerve pain to name a couple of types can wear a person down. Side effects of medicine that's supposed to help is unexcusable. Big pharma sets aside a portion of their 8 & 9 figure profits for the in-house lawyers to use to settle when it's found that some rushed to market or failed to report some trials negative data. FDA Black box warnings get issued and profits have grown to 9 & 10 figures enabling settlement funding to unfortunately grow.

1 Reaction@babby I have heard from my Doctor Algae Cal is excellent-have to get more info on that
I took Prolia almost six years ago and for six months, I was in pain in my whole body, which finally went away after I quit taking it. I started on Fosamax and quit for a while for dental work, then back on. After Prolia, my lower back still hurt so I went to a pain doctor who tried an ablashion, which did not work. He then tried an epidural, which did not work either on my right hip, behind my hip bone and glutes. He also tried a shot directly into that did not work either. Another orthpedic doctor tried a shot into my groin, didn't do anything. Another pain doctor tried an epidural which didn't work. I had pain in the front of my legs last month, I had a shot in both knees and it has gone away. going to another pain doctor next week. I have gone to so many physical therapists I have lost count. Some did movements which hurt. I think if hav glutus tendinitis....but no doctor has said that. YouTube has. I guess I have to live with it. I was on a walker after my hip replacement but now use a cane and happy I can do that and probably that is the way my life is going to be. Hope I can keep walking with the cane even though it hurts when I walk. I can sit ok. I wish all of us could get better.
