@mrmik Thanks! My wife just ordered the turmeric and vanilla bean powder. I don't drink, so I may have to beg some from our neighbor. Something like vodka that has almost no taste and can be mixed with grape juice or orange juice. Just so I get this right, take all the ingredients in the amounts given and mix it with honey until I get a thick slurry. Then add a tablespoon to several ounces of the vodka/OJ mixture? If this is incorrect, please give me your precise recipe, including all necessary steps. I don't want to mess this up. I realize that it may not work for me, but I want to get it right. Again, thanks for sharing.

The recipe in my original post worked, I don't have the exact amount of liquids in my latest thick slurry.
Note: You don't have to use rum, any 45 to 50 alcohol will work.
Oils should also work for extracting the active ingredients.
Here I lean toward Coconut oil because it should have a higher degree of tissue penetration.

Too much and I would stay close to the bathroom.

By the way Orange Juice will dilute and have a negative effect on the extraction.

By the way I have no idea if the honey has any effect on the overall outcome.

Also I also think the approximate 0.3 alcohol in my blood could have had a positive effect transporting the active ingredients around in the body to the inflamed areas.

I'm not advocating anyone should get drunk though.
