@soledad02: The reason I asked about Diabetes is because my Neuropathy began with occasional sharp pains in my big toes… I referred them to “bee stings”. After many years of these stabbing pains in toes, feet, ankles, calf’s, shins and now thighs I am convinced I have Diabetic Neuropathy. You can experience Neuropathy for a lot of medical malady. I think of the stabbing pains as when the nerves are dying- I have no medical training as you can tell. I have a drawer of creams, lotions, lidocaine patches, socks to apply at these times (usually when I am solitary or trying to get to sleep at night), but I am convinced there is no cure. I take Tylenol with longer pain bouts. Sometimes a heating pad gives relief… sometimes an ice bag.
I don’t know if my saga will help you or not. However, now you know that I do understand the pain involved in this situation. Best health to you…

@dbamos1945 thanks for this information. I’m hoping it’s neither of these. I’ll reach out to my Dr in the near future if it continues. So you’re not finding any relief to the pain? I might try ibuprofen tonight before bed.
