Thanks for asking. Said the MN ayo doesn't really have a transplant list. Says it goes more by need. They don't necessarily go by chronological age but more your health age. That being said, doctor pretty much said at 78 the chances aren't real good at getting a lung transplant. Thankfully my husband is doing pretty good as he goes to pulmonary rehab 2 x a week and physical therapy 1x a week. He works out at home too every day. Unfortunately he has shin splints right now and can't do treadmill. We are on our way back to Mayo as we speak to deal with his premature ventricular contractions.
