Timing of taking prednisone

Posted by pst @pst, Feb 12, 2023

Some of the side effects I have from prednisone include shakiness, blurred vision, inability to stand for long periods and general lack of coordination. I’m a painter so this isn’t helpful.
I noticed by day’s end those conditions improved. I started taking the prescription before bed. Early days, but it seems to work. Has anyone else tried this AND is there any reason one shouldn’t?
Thanks.

yes I usually kept a little yogurt to eat with Pred. I’d be interested in knowing what specific PMR vitamins you take. I take a bunch but they weren’t recommended specifically for PMR. Calcium and Alendronate of course , but despite that I’ve ended up with osteoporosis. Damn.

@janetilley I take the vitamins sold as Nutranize. I get them
On Amazon, although you can go to their website. These were developed by the Prednisone Pharmacist and she put in every vitamin prednisone is stealing from you. I recommend listening to her on YouTube because she’s a wealth of info.
