I am just speculating, but just lowering lab values may not mean that PSC is being put in remission. My lab values have gone down over the past few years, but I still have PSC. I was diagnosed with small duct PSC about 25 years ago through a biopsy and lab values that were off the chart. Like I said now my lab values are back in the normal range. My GI did not have any real reason why this occurred, but he said that I still have PSC.

@suerte You’re right. Lab enzymes in the normal range don’t mean you’re cured. It is hopeful though. Some of the results with PPARs has been pretty dramatic.
