We live in a relatively small town & a good/sensible/smart/experienced doctor is hard to find so I sympathize. One was ready to do surgery on my knee when
all I had was Bursitis= boooooo. I had to go to a big city to get the right diagnosis but it was worth it. Don't give up. good luck finding a smart one you can talk to.
