My brother was diagnosed with astrocytoma in his left frontal lobe, at age 28, after experiencing the epileptic seizures. The tumor vas an orange size and urgent brain surgery was successfully performed in Croatia. After surgery they did radiation. 30 years later the tumor returned and 2 nd surgery was done in Sweden. The surgery went well, but this time a lot damage was caused by removing tumor.

@kob Thank you, you know, sometimes I feel emotionally weak because of the situation. Luckily people that surround me are supportive and give me emotional strength

@kob How's your brother right now? My doctor also recommended surgery, but afraid of surgery because of the implications it may cause.

@kmborromeo
I was diagnosed in 2009 with astrocytoma at age 42, did 6 weeks radiation and took the Temodar for about 6 months. ( neutrophils got too low) Your moms fears are understandable, you may try the ABTA American Brain Tumor Association- they are a great resource for families - good luck🙏🏼
