Hi all. I'm 69 now. Hanging skin ? Yes. I don't want to get the surgery because I don't want to get intubated again. So I will live with the excess skin like I have been.

My health right now is not good. I have RA. I have Fibromyalgia. Because I'm in severe pain 24/7 I'm on BP meds again and pain meds. My Asthma is controlled.
Also found out with many many tests that I have a small hernia in my sleeve and my gall bladder is full of stones(I have no symptoms). Ended up going back to the surgeon who did my sleeve(2013) this year. He couldn't believe how good I looked. That I kept the weight off. That my sleeve is still small and restriction still there. He said it was normal after WLS to have a hernia in the sleeve and since mine was small no worries.
The gallbladder? Another issue after getting WLS and to wait for symptoms which I might never have before removing it.

Today? Because of bad health I now weigh 185 Lbs. and am starting a anti-inflammatory lifestyle. I've lost so much muscle. I'm taking this slow and started walking again for exercise(a mile now) and hope to get up to 2-4 miles a day.
Old age ain't it wonderful.

Hi @ecmoandrrt - congrats to you for maintaining the weight loss after your sleeve surgery. Fantastic. How neat your surgeon couldn't believe how good you looked this year.

Your exercise routine and goals also sound good.

Really sorry to hear your health is not good. As for the gallbladder, I had mine out about 15 years ago, and it definitely let me know. The pain started slowly and over a few hours became unbearable - worse than labor pain.
