The info I have is that mushrooms are best for one when cooked. Canned are fine People who know I am eating lots find and donate or tell me where to harvest. I use lots of Aldi fresh, but I will microwave or sauté or bake depending on meal. Mushrooms and tomato should be cooked, and onion garlic as well as cruciferous veggies raw or lightly steamed. With one type of chemo
the oncologist advised not to take chaga as it would have affected that chemical. If I get extra mushrooms I freeze them but cook before using. One mornings I have seeds and oatmeal I mix in powdered dry mushrooms before cooking. Microwave is often the heat source. I hope this helps.
