Painful feet
Has anyone used a cream such as Nervive on their feet for pain? I bought it but I am a little afraid to use it. I am in early neuropathy right now so I do not suffer any of the advanced symptoms but I can tell you the pain in my feet is often pretty uncomfortable and has altered my life a great deal. I am 75 years old and trying to remain active but after my daily walk I am pretty much on the couch icing my feet. My feet cannot stand being constricted in supportive sneakers during walk.
Also has anyone tried Kuru footwear? I need a lot of cushioning. Thank you.

I have worn Kuru. Comfortable shoe that provides extra support around the heel. I went other way with shoes. Have foot and ankle numbness. Used barefoot type shoes. Got some from Keen. Actually very comfortable for daily walking. Not sure they would be as good on a rough path. Lots of room for toes to lay flat in shoe.

1 ReactionI don't think you have to worry about using that cream. Most of them are fairly useless when it comes to helping neuropathy, especially for burning feet. I've tried Mama Bear Oasis, 5% lidocaine and Diclofenac K(Voltaren). None of them even touched my burning feet. Finding a comfortable shoe is likely a better option. Orthofeet are nice to walk in. I wish you well.

@heisenberg34 - I have been using voltaren creme and it works amazingly well for overnight relief. Get the walmart knock off brand
@mikecarey I was able to get diclofenac potassium by script with No copay. I gave up using it because it did nothing for my foot pain.
