I have been prescribed Risedronate/ I have osteoporosis and this will be the first med. I take.
I am somewhat fearful of esophagus damage. I would appreciate anyone who has taken it
to pass on some information.

My mother took it from the age of 70 to 85 years.
She will take it for five years and then a drug holiday for one year.If you are erect for one hour after taking the drug you can definitely protect your esophagus.
