@hlmcneely I had laser surgery on both of my eyes when my distance started to weaken. It really helped me but wore off after five years or so. I finally was a candidate for cataract surgery. The surgery only took about 15 minutes (they will only do one eye at a time), there was no pain or discomfort…..They numb the eye with drops. Only downside is that they send you home with four or five different kinds of drops to be put in at different times of the day and for different lengths of time. The drops were fine…..no pain at all…..but just keeping track of them was a little challenging! Once the surgery is done, and you can finally SEE………WOW!!!! Such a gift!!!!
