What happens when you stop taking anastrozole?

I was on it for 5 months and had to stop for similar reasons. My fingers were so stiff they won’t bend unless I forced them. The tendons in my upper arms were just as stiff. Quality of life is so important to me. My oncologist then put me on exemestane which was even worse. I’ve decided to enjoy each day to the fullest without the drugs.

@biddle1267 I'm glad I'm not the only one realizing that these drugs don't make daily life pleasant at all. I'm glad I only took for 3 weeks, but I'm wondering how long till my back stop hurting and neck. Hopefully not to long. So sorry to hear about your fingers getting that stiff and upper arms. I'm sure you weren't comfortable at all. I agree with you enjoy each day, feel your best and leave the rest to a higher power.
