@wandering my wife was on it for 3yrs and had same thing! had to remove part of her jaw bone and teeth - she was so upset - on liquid diet for almost year and lost a lot of weight - she back to eating somewhat solid foods again but never the same - don't see where the benefits outweighed the ONJ

Thanks for your input. I had an oral surgeon give me the basic information you got for your wife regarding the repair. Spooked me off doing anything. I wasn't sure I would live long enough to get benefit from it (I'm 80). My new oncologist asked me about my jaw this week. She said they had hyperbolic oxygen available and is checking on it to see if it would be a benefit. Don't know where we are with that but for now I'm not doing anything. I hate to hear about your wife's issues but it sounds like she is on the mend.
