I had an anaphylactic reaction. My throat swelled up and I couldn't breathe. The minute my husband brought me into the E.R., they rushed me up to ICU. I was there for three days. Then they wanted me to stay in the regular hospital section for a week for observation. Later I had to come back for an appointment with the allergist. He told me that 5% of the population have this reaction to lisinopril.
