Unfortunately he did not. Also I was not as savvy about the medical field then as I am now. Then I was in the "sheep" category. Just accepted what was told me. During the years I have changed a lot.
I don't know about superior genes. I feel I am just an ordinary person, but I do know this. When I was 10 years old (80 years ago) I contracted scarlet fever. There were no drugs or medications at that time. I was put into a hospital for communicable diseases and isolated. Basically they waited for me to die. But I didn't. So maybe the ability of my body to fight off this disease may have something to do with it.

@thisismarilynb I can relate to the former self believing everything that was told to me! Boy was I naive!! How long were you in the hospital with scarlet fever?? That must have been truly terrifying, especially at the age of 10. You are a survivor, that’s for sure! You’re also quite an inspiration! I bet you have many fascinating stories to share. Do you enjoy any type of exercise, whether physical or mental? Im also curious what your diet is like, if you dont mind my asking?
