@rlbooker5590 Hi Rhonda. I thought that might be you! Wow, thanks so much for being vulnerable enough to share your reentry to the PRC. That takes courage. Having been through the program, I know exactly the type of courage. You should be very proud.
How amazing that you not only eventually recognized the need but we're brave enough to take the step forward again in your rehab journey. You've just helped educate other members that the PRC does not claim to fix or cure anyone. There are no promises that it's going to be easy and no one's going to do it for you. It takes commitment and desire for change, and life may continue to throw curve balls.
This comprehensive plan PRC teaches (I call it a blue print) for willing participants is about how to live with and work towards accepting chronic pain and symptoms. It's no easy path that's for sure and they pull no punches educating about that . Dr. Sletten advises that we need to be all in for life on this journey.
Again, thank you for sharing, which helps others (including me), but also to share in a way that stays true to the PRC principles by not exhibiting pain behaviors. I'm glad you found Connect to be a safe space in order to do that. Keep up the good work!
