You said talk about anything so here goes. I just finished reading a rather long article about Superager Brains. I fit into that category as I am 91 years old and show no signs of dementia; live alone; and drive. It said I am among 5% of the population. The 5% struck a hard gong with me. Several years ago I almost died because of an anaphylactic reaction to lisinopril. In ICU for 3 days. Later I had to go to the Allergist for a follow up. He told me that 5% of the population react to lisinopril that way. Two 5%??? What do you think? Coincidence or something else?

I have taken Lisinopril for years. What happened to you, what was the reaction?

@thisismarilynb you know what they say- “There’s no such thing as Coincidence” lol ! In all seriousness though, I find this to be quite fascinating!.. I’m wondering if you might have superior genes!? Did the Dr say What Exactly is triggered within those patients who have the allergic response to the med?
