I ve had labile blood pressure for several years. Have been sent to ER for hypertensive crisis, but my heart checks out fine. I’m now seeing an endocrinologist and blood/urine tests indicate a possible phenochromocytoma. Small, usually benign tumor on the adrenal gland that can cause this. I’m having a CT scan next month. It’s worth a mention. Who knew why my BP went too high or too low. This might be the answer. It is rare.

@con123 ,This is the first time on this website. I feel your pain with the labile situation. I've been watching my BP for three years as directed. On New Year's Day I ended up in ER after experiencing BP over 200/199. I am on no BP meds because I routinely have BP's of 102/69, 101/63, 98/66, 95/63, 97/59 etc. My pulse pressure ranges from 21-80. I saw a cardiologist three years ago and she said all was normal. I think that NOW it is was past the "normal" stage and am getting serious in finding some answers. I'm sorry to hear of your phenochromotycoma (new word for me) and do hope you get some positive answers from that.
