@mamajite . I do NOT now which type of cancer I have. Having a problem getting any answers from my oncologist. She was to talk with me Tuesday. NO answers as of now. I have left several messages and her M.A. is not returning my calls. Dr. will be off on Monday. I guess I should try a second opinion from another source??

@rlf66 yes, you can seek a second opinion in parallel with your initial diagnosis. I'm not sure where you are receiving care, but I would encourage you to meet with an oncologist at an academic cancer center/official NCI-Designated Cancer Center, if possible.
