Prolia treatment for osteoporosis: What is your experience?

I had my first Prolia shot yesterday with no side effects. I told the RN who have me the injection I also had fibromyalgia and she told me that because of the fibro I might not notice any of the side effects (eg, aches and pains that are common with fibro) others complain about. I will keep you posted on how it goes from here but so far so good.

Good afternoon Barb M @proloaconcern, Thank you for your positive post about your Prolia experience. We are trying to gather reports of positive as well as negative experiences so that our members will have more information with which to ask questions about the options and then finally making a decision that is right for them. I appreciate the comment about fibromyalgia. One of my besties has fibro and is concerned.

@proloaconcern Thanks Barb for posting. Too often only people who have had problems post on sites like this. I hope you will continue to have no problems and that prolia will help your osteoporosis. I am still deciding which of these drugs I will take. The decision is difficult.
