I have read through so many of your guys comments. I truly thought I was the only one going through this. Im so embarrassed by my coughing and clearing of throat which then makes me anxious and the I do it even more.

A little back ground...

I went on holidays for 2 weeks to an island in British Colombia. A place I have gone to before. So nothing new. We traveled home and got in late. Next morning when I woke up everything started. I woke up with this cough and clearing of my throat and severe tinnitus in my right ear which happened for 6 solid months. I thought maybe an ear infection. Spoke with a Dr he agreed went on a course of antibiotics. That gave some minor relief with tinnitus but not enough. Needed a second round of antibiotics. Then we thought sinus infection. Long story short for 6 mo ths I was on a lot of antibiotics which seemed to not help. Went to a naturopath. She found mold and fungus in my system found only to where we were. Went on a fungus cleanse for 9 weeks and the tinnitus was gone. But still coughing and clearing my throat constantly. I have continued to see the naturopath, seen multiple ENT's my family dr. A women's dr waiting for a neurologist but still can't get rid of my cough and clearing of throat. I have been on all kinds of sinus sprays. Antihistamines. Nasal rinse prescription and OTC. Antacids for GERD. The women dr diagnosed me pre menopausal. Put me on hormones but still doesn't help. I have tried lots of natural supplements seen a herbologist. Im lost. Embarrassed. Tired of this life style now. Throat is always sore now

I drink alot of water eat very healthy. No processed foods, very very minimal dairy. No sugar.

Any tips tricks would be appreciated. Bonus if it's a natural remedy.

Hi @kwal. Know you've read a lot so hopeful this new to you 🤞. First simple try of vitamin c gummies, only couple a day low sugar…, can cut into small pieces to suck on throughout day. Other that helped me tremendously was food/drink anything consumed diary with any change in cough mucous or any other reaction🙃. Histamine was my new item to avoid and then a trained nutritionist for accurate/tailored consumption help for you🤞. Quickest recovery wishes🌈

I’ve been using a cool mist humidifier. It’s been surprisingly ineffective. 🙁

I’d seek an allergist. You may have developed a new sensitivity. Make sure to follow instructions for test prep; there’s a laundry list of things to stop doing in preparation for testing. Good luck!
