I am a 63 yo male with a T-Score of -4.4. Any males out there? I have had 17 spinal fusions due to osteoporosis. I am fused from C4-C7 & T12-S3 all since 2008 & have been on every treatment there is. Most recent was Prolia in 2017 but had to stop because of multiple surgeries. I had no side effects other then there can be very minimal dental work. Just start Prolia a week ago. I am not overly hopeful about the results but will know in another week after blood work. Keep smiling 🙂

@jmweissler Sounds like you have been battling osteoporosis for quite a while now. What treatments have you been on prior to Prolia, and did you have any disagreeable side-effects? There are many here, myself included, who are struggling with the question of what to do. I am 95% certain that I will go one of these drugs but I need to do more research to decide which. My endo suggested Reclast. I won't do anything until after April because I have a couple of other things I want out of the way first.
I, and I am sure many others, would really love to hear side-effects and also what if any positive effects you got from the various treatments. Osteoporosis is so much more threatening than I ever realized before. ☹️
