I was recently diagnosed with kidney disease and my Nephrologist put me on Lisinopril, stating it would provide protective factors to my kidneys. I experienced the frequent dizziness, usually upon standing. I also got waves of nausea with the dizziness that were brief but happened 1-3 times daily. The other side effect I experienced was a significant increase in anxiety, when I had no previous issues. After 6 months on the medication, losing 25 lbs, and receiving excellent lab reports, he took me off of it. I didn't connect how much better I feel to the Lisinopril until I read this.
