Not sure why they have you scheduled for 16 visits. Most practitioners only do ten visits. If no relief after first five, then treatment is halted, and half your payment is refunded. Is that the same for you?

I am so sorry to hear that many of you spent a lot of money on this relatively new idea. It truly sucks to get our hopes up for relief from this agony. This happened recently to me, with a different type of therapy. It really broke my spirit for a while. Hopefully those of you who try this, will have better results.

Well the search will have to continue. I am told in all their yrs that I am their 1st patient to get zero relief from this therapy, lucky me. In their opinion I must be dealing with some kind of structural problem , last ortho doctor said it has to be nerves. Who knows but I will keep moving and searching there must be an answer out there PEACEFUL HOLIDAYS STEVE

I just finished my fourth day of Scrambler therapy, too. No help whatsoever. Just lightened my wallet quite a bit. Plus the travel, hotel, food, etc. I was in New Jersey. They tried leads on my legs, feet, and upper back to buttocks. I am very discouraged. Hope you find some help somewhere along the line.

Lighter wallet for sure , no relief for sure. SCAM possibly. 6 1/2 yrs and no answer. That’s why it’s called practicing medicine. GOOD LUCK

I know what you mean. That therapy is supposed to be successful for a lot of people. Just not most of those I have encountered.

@shalombendavid I recently completed 10 days of “Scrambler” Therapy at the Calmare Clinic in Clifton, N.J. with very good results. I have suffered from very debilitating Trigeminal Nerve Pain for years cause by a dentist….I cannot take any of the daily meds recommended as I can’t stand the side effects. I’ve been on and off steroids (Prednisone mainly) until my body rebelled.
I am thrilled at my results as I now feel like I’ve gotten part of my life back. It’s not covered by insurance but I didn’t care because I was so very desperate to feel better and get off of drugs. Dr. Jason Cooney has been my “miracle worker!!”

I tried Scrambler therapy earlier this year in New Jersey. Dr. Cooney was very professional, but the therapy did not help me at all. I'm not saying that it won't help others. It's just a shame that so many of us have to put out the money just to find out whether it works of not. That includes the cost of the therapy, travel expenses, lodging, and food. For me it was over $2000. I realize that it's not possible for many to absorb that kind of expense. Perhaps insurance will approve this before too long.
