@mrsjohn101 Thank you for writing. I've been taking two antibiotics and generic Prevacid for 10 days. I'm surprised I never heard of H Pylori. I have a difficult time believing I ate contaminated food. I might have believed it 30 years ago when my lifestyle wasn't very healthy and I used to have a drink or two. In fact I had no symptoms except I began bleeding and they discovered the H Pylori from some biopsies from my stomach lining when they were looking for active bleeding. Started with CT, endoscopy, and colonoscopy. They found a couple polyps and biopsied them. I'm concerned I'm contagious and my wife should get tested. My PCP is following up getting a stool test a week after I finish these meds.
