Evenity and side effects: What helps joint and muscle pain?

Posted by rjkesal123 @rjkesal123, Feb 13, 2024

Hi All,
I received my first Evenity injection two weeks ago. Everything was going well, did not even have injection site pain. But the last couple of days I have had joint and muscle pain especially in my neck and upper back, Lower back and arms. I've read the drug peaks around 7 to 14 days. I am wondering if this is normal, has anyone else experienced this and if these side effects subside? Is there anything you take before or after the injection to relieve this pain? It is very uncomfortable. Thank you!

Thank you..it's quite the journey of not knowing and not knowing. My dad always said, "I never told you it would be easy, honey. " Take care 🙂

Sending out an instant karma to all of us who are suffering today. I know this is minor compared to what others may be suffering from, ie: cancer or any other major illness..,.I keep asking myself, is it REALLY worth it ?! Maybe gains, but so much pain. Something smells rotten in Denmark 🇩🇰 as the saying goes …

I’ve only been using Tylenol for the joint pain, and taking other palliative measures to address each new & existing pains, aches & issues. Ice, heat, rest & kindness to yourself help somewhat…I feel like recently I’ve become an old lady who needs help even just walking.
My new symptoms are weird; a pervading dizziness - not bad, but weird. Letting other people in your life know what you’re going through helps. Asking for help & understanding that this will be your reality for a while is helpful ?
I wish I had more to offer. Best of luck & keep sharing 🪬🧡
