Thank you for your information. How does the Atorvastatin affect you physically besides the fact that a different Statin is beneficial to the sharp leg pain? Do you take it exclusively for the leg pain?

I use Theraworx when pain awakens me, also, I disolve 2 leg cramp pills under my tongue which helps.
I, too, get the pain always when lying down on my back which is the only way I can sleep
due to the Vegus Nerve pain going down the L leg.
I jump straight up out of bed when it happens.
Sometimes I sleep the rest of the night in a chair with leg rest which is actually more comfortable with no pain. But it is not good to sleep sitting up all night!

Do you go to a Physical Therapist? I have been seeing one regularly since May this year.
I choose to exercise and thus far have avoided drugs. I also walk 30 - 50 blocks daily.
Do you have complications with Venous Insufficiency? Varicose Veins? Neuropathy?
I am trying to determine whether all these diagnoses together are causing my pain, or if
it is the nerve alone. The Neurologist thinks it is the nerve being pinched by a lower disc.
I do NOT want to do surgery.
At the suggestion of the Neurologist, I take 2,000 mg. Quanol Tumeric daily which helps alot.

It would be great to hear how you are progressing on the different Statin.
